The Leutascher Geisterklamm gorge is an impressive natural experience that reveals the power of water over thousands of years. Steep rock faces, a rushing mountain stream and breathtaking views down into the depths give you a tingling sensation in your stomach – an adventure for the whole family.
Especially in spring, when the meltwater fills the gorge, its wild roar fills the air with mystical sounds. According to legend, these sounds come from the spirit of the gorge, which also gave it its name. An unforgettable highlight that combines nature and myth!

Ganghofer Museum
Immerse yourself in the world of Ludwig Ganghofer, one of the most famous local writers of his time. In his hunting lodge “Hubertus” in the Gaistal valley, he wrote classics such as “Das Schweigen im Walde” and welcomed personalities such as Richard Strauss. Many of the paths he created can still be hiked today.
The Ganghofer Museum in Kirchplatzl provides fascinating insights into his life, the history of the village and the tradition of hunting in Leutasch. A must for anyone interested in history and culture! Opening hours: Tuesday to Friday, 15:00-17:00. Guided tours possible by appointment.
